Public Programs

My public nature programs are currently available to the through two Central New Hampshire agencies: the Hopkinton Recreation Department and Concord Parks & Recreation.

All Rec programs are open to non-residents no matter where they are hosted, but there is generally a non-resident fee added (usually $5-10).

early spring full moon hike

April 11, 7:45-8:30pm

$10 per person, ages 18+

Hike under the full moon at Ransmeier Woods while listening for owls and wood frogs. Register here!

Saturdays April 26- May 17, 10:30-11:30am

$48 per child, ages 2-5

We’ll check out the animals, colors and sounds of spring, like tadpoles, flowers and birdsong, at Winant Park. Register here!

Forest tea for families

Wednesday, April 30, 10:00-11:15am

$8 per person (0-4 free, all ages)

Brew your own tea from forest flavors and enjoy it with friends on the Hopkinton Library patio. Register here!

Birding Trip to Plum island

Sunday, May 4, 8:00-11:45am

$25 per person, ages 18+

A brief yet thorough exploration of common and lesser-known wild edible plants at the Jim Hill Riverwalk. Hosted jointly by Hopkinton and Concord rec; register where appropriate!
